Opportunity:

RN - Modified Care Unit

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with floating as needed
• Every other weekend requirement
• Provide care in a 29-bed Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit
• Care for diverse patient population including interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, acute MI, CHF, COPD, and acute stroke patients
• Work with patients requiring closer cardiac monitoring and assessment
• Provide care for patients requiring peritoneal dialysis, IV antiarrhythmics, insulin infusions, BiPap, and those on home ventilators
• Cardiac telemetry care experience required
• Must have experience working with diverse patient population including MI, CHF, COPD, strokes, and stable arrhythmias
• Associate degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from NLC participating state required
• Required certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Must obtain Telemetry, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum two years nursing education from accredited School of Nursing required
• English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing required
