Opportunity:
RAD Tech - RAD Tech
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday schedule with every other weekend rotation
• Flexible start times with 1-1.5 hour variance depending on staffing needs
• One call shift per week with varying time slots (1st call 6:30 AM-2:00 PM, 2nd call 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, 3rd call 10:30 PM-6:30 AM)
• One day off during week leading up to work weekend and one day off the week following work weekend
• Handle 15-20 patients per tech per day on average
• Work with inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural patients of all age ranges with minimal pediatrics
• Perform surgical/procedure imaging, general radiography, and portable X-rays
• Conduct fluoro procedures including ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases
• OR imaging for orthopedic, general, and spine procedures with preferred experience using O-arm
• Required certifications: ARRT, Wisconsin License, BLS
• Minimum 2 years acute or surgical experience required
• Highly competent surgery and procedure experience preferred
• Work with EMR system EPIC and PACS McKesson
• Utilize GE, Fuji, Del Medical X-ray equipment and GE 9900/Elite C-arms plus Medtronic O-arms
• 7-day department orientation following NEO
• Surgery scrubs provided in-house
• One holiday per contract requirement
• Fast-paced environment with high acuity patients
• No floating between departments

This major medical center is a 636-bed healthcare facility featuring Level III Trauma Center designation and Level III NICU capabilities. The facility holds Magnet designation and serves as a Primary Stroke Center, demonstrating commitment to excellence in patient care. The radiology department operates with comprehensive support including on-site radiologists 24/7, hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapists around the clock. The department features 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro suites, 1 video swallow room, plus clinic space with 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room.
