Opportunity:

RN - Modified Care Unit

Job Details:

• Work in a 29-bed Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit on night shifts
• Provide care to a diverse patient population including interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, acute MI, CHF, COPD, acute stroke, and patients requiring closer cardiac monitoring and assessment
• Care for patients requiring peritoneal dialysis, IV antiarrhythmics, insulin infusions, BiPap, and those on home ventilators
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned group of patients in inpatient environment
• Demonstrate competency in delivery of care to primarily adult population
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License or Multi-state Nursing License, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), NIHSS certification
• Must have Cardiac Telemetry Care experience
• Minimum Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum two years education at accredited School of Nursing required
• Must be proficient in English (speak, read, write)
• Required skills include working with diverse patient populations, MI care, CHF care, COPD care, stroke care, cardiac monitoring, and cardiac assessment
