$250 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule cycle operates in 6-week increments
• Weekend rotation requires 24 hours of weekend shifts per 6 weeks
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday expectations vary
• RTO approval available up to 7 days
• Minimum 2 years telemetry experience required
• BLS certification required (ACLS not required)
• Patient ratios: Days 1:3-5, Nights 1:5-7
• Care for adult medical and telemetry patients including live and kidney transplant patients
• Skills required include assessment, tube feeds, NG tube insertion, blood product administration, and cardiac rhythm interpretation (minimum 2x per shift)
• Experience with titratable drips (heparin, insulin, Cardizem) preferred or willingness to learn
• Must document pain level before and after administering pain medications
• One shift orientation to learn unit flow
• Any solid color scrubs required
• Floating within scope of practice to ED Inpatient Boarding with 1:4 ratio
• Work with technology including EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and GE monitors

Facility:

This medical facility is a Level III Trauma Center with Level III NICU capabilities and holds Magnet designation, demonstrating excellence in nursing services. The facility serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and operates 933 beds, providing advanced healthcare services including transplant programs. The 26-bed telemetry unit offers comprehensive support with charge nurses, unit leadership presence Monday through Friday, 24/7 ICU-trained resource nurses, and centralized telemetry monitoring with dedicated technicians.
