Opportunity:

RAD Tech - RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Part-time position requiring 24 hours per week
• Weekend rotation every other weekend required
• One on-call shift per week with varying times: 1st call 6:30 AM-2:00 PM, 2nd call 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, 3rd call 10:30 PM-6:30 AM
• One holiday per contract required
• Flexible shift times with 1-1.5 hour variance between start times depending on staffing needs
• 7-day department orientation plus NEO required
• Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT, Wisconsin License, BLS
• Must be competent in surgical/procedural work, general radiography, and portable X-rays
• Experience with fluoroscopy procedures including ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases
• OR experience required in orthopedic, general, and spine procedures
• Preferred experience with O-arm technology
• Work with inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural patients of all age ranges
• Average 15-20 patients per tech per day
• Surgery scrubs provided in-house
• Free parking available
• Fast-paced environment with high acuity patients
• No floating to other departments

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring 636 beds and multiple specialty designations including Level III Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Magnet Designation, and Primary Stroke Center status. The radiology department operates with state-of-the-art equipment including GE, Fuji, and Del Medical X-ray systems, McKesson PACS, and advanced C-arm technology. The department maintains 24/7 radiologist coverage and robust support with 14 technologists on day shift, 7 on second shift, and 3 on third shift, along with round-the-clock RT, hospitalist, and intensivist coverage.
