Opportunity:

MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, plus either Monday or Friday for an additional 12 hours
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT-M
• Work with patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics including ortho, neuro, GI, and breast cases
• Perform MRI guided biopsies and breast biopsies
• Must demonstrate attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills
• No cardiac pacemaker scanning experience required
• Work with Siemens 1.5 Tesla Magnet equipment
• Use EPIC EMR system and Pyxis medication dispensing
• One day orientation provided
• No floating required
• No regular call responsibilities
• Holiday work only if needed (discussed in interview)
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Support staff includes transporters, radiology assistants, radiologists, lead techs, phlebotomy, RRT, and hospitalists

Facility:

This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility featuring 277 hospital beds and operates as a Level IV Trauma Center. The facility includes specialized services such as a Level III NICU, Level III Perinatal Center with L&D and Postpartum units, and Accredited Level III Geriatrics. As a Primary Stroke Center, the facility provides advanced neurological care and maintains two MRI suites to support diagnostic imaging needs across multiple specialties.
