Opportunity:

RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech

Job Details:

• Work in a 24/7 department with 5 examination rooms
• General IR shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Neuro IR shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Manager flexible with shift times and scheduling arrangements
• Handle 40-50 patients daily on average
• Work with adult patients only (no pediatrics)
• Two techs assigned per examination room, sometimes three for complex cases
• Perform scrubbing and panning simultaneously
• Required to take call shifts: weekday call (Monday-Thursday) 1 shift per week, weekend call once every 5th weekend
• 30-minute response time for call situations
• Orientation includes 1-2 weeks with preceptor and skills check-off
• Experience with general IR cases including kyphoplasty, central lines, fistulograms, IVC filters, and peripheral procedures
• AAA intervention experience preferred
• Neuro IR experience beneficial for stroke cases and embolization procedures
• Required certifications: RT(R), ARRT, BLS, Wisconsin license
• Experience with Siemens and GE equipment preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Work with Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Change Healthcare PACS
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking in structure with badge access
• No floating to other departments required

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center with Magnet designation status. The facility operates a 933-bed hospital with a Level III NICU and provides advanced interventional radiology services 24/7. The department features modern technology and equipment, comprehensive support staff including respiratory therapy and hospitalist services available around the clock, and maintains high standards for patient care with specialized coordinators and lead technicians to support daily operations.
