Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work in a 36-bed multi-specialty ICU providing high acuity care
• Handle neuro, post cardiovascular surgery, medical, surgical, and trauma ICU patients
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio
• Manage patients with trachs, vents, chest tubes, vasoactive drips, procedural recoveries, and temporary pacemakers
• 3 years of ICU experience required
• First-time travelers considered upon review
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Work with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
• No pediatrics, burns, or transplant patients
• Contract staff may not be assigned to post cardiovascular recoveries, CRRT, or neuro patients requiring special competencies
• Use EPIC charting system, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing
• Support includes CNA coverage (1:12 ratio), charge nurse without patient assignment, centralized tele monitoring with tech, bedside monitoring, 24-hour intensivist coverage, mid-level coverage, full-time ICU educator, and CV coordinator
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Free parking available outside inpatient entrance

This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility featuring 167 beds and serving as a Level II Trauma Center. The facility operates a Level III NICU and Level III Maternity unit, while also functioning as both a Primary Stroke Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The organization provides advanced critical care services with specialized units and comprehensive support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
