Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in a 2-room cardiac catheterization lab with 1 EP/Cath room and 1 Cath Lab
• Handle approximately 4 cases per day
• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures using femoral and radial approach
• Work with IFR, FFR, and balloon pumps
• Operate temporary pacers and other cardiac equipment
• Participate in 24/7, 365 STEMI Program
• Float only between rooms in the department and pre-op area
• Work with technology including EPIC EMR, Maclab hemodynamic system, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and GE C-arms
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT or RCIS; ACLS preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
• Expected to teach and educate others while maintaining a collaborative team environment
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available in facility parking lot
• First-time travelers accepted

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates as a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with a 72-bed capacity and Level III NICU. The cardiac catheterization lab department provides comprehensive cardiovascular services with dedicated support staff including receptionist/HUC, respiratory therapy, and hospitalist services. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology to support advanced cardiac procedures and emergency interventions.
