$250 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - Oncology
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract with 36/48 hour rotation schedule (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next week)
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement
• Will float to other areas as needed to care for patients within scope
• 2+ years of nursing experience required with oncology experience mandatory
• 1 year MedSurg Oncology (MSO) unit experience preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and Chemotherapy certification
• Epic EMR experience preferred; must have previous electronic charting experience if no Epic background
• Work with Epic EMR system, medication scanning rovers, and Alaris pumps
• Care for MedSurg Oncology patients including surgical oncology and medical oncology patients
• Small population of patients receiving chemotherapy treatments
• Patient ratios typically 5:1 on nights but can reach 7:1 (uncommon)
• Night shift always has technician support available
• CNAs scheduled all shifts with additional RN staffing when CNAs unavailable
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours with possible call-back
