Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts - either days (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) or nights (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Float to all patient care areas including Emergency Department, OB, and general care areas
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Assist with C-sections and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols
• Provide care for patients of all age groups
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Advanced NRP, NBRC RRT
• Active Wisconsin license required (Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)
• Associates degree or certificate required
• Minimum 2 years experience required with NICU experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Dress code: closed-toed shoes, scrubs (any color), clean appearance, no smoking or scent allowed
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• May be placed on call during low census periods
