Opportunity:

Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work in interventional radiology with 5 total rooms: 2 Cath Labs, 1 EP Room, 1 Hybrid Room, 1 IR Room
• 2 years of Cath Lab experience or 2 years IR experience required depending on position modality
• Cross training to both modalities preferred
• Adult patients only, both inpatient and outpatient
• Intra-procedural work only, no pre/post care responsibilities
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Required certifications: IEMA (IL license), ARRT, BLS, ACLS
• Must be able to scrub and pan simultaneously
• Experience with Impella, balloon pump, and hemodynamic monitoring required
• Hybrid, EP, and IR experience preferred but not required
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• 10-11 call shifts per month including weekends
• Call schedule: weekdays 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM, weekends Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
• 30-minute response time for call
• 1-2 holiday call shifts per contract
• May float to IR/CL if skillset matches
• Procedural scrubs provided
• Free parking available
• Charting systems: EPIC, Merge hemodynamic, GE Cardio (EP), Siemens equipment
• First-time travelers not accepted

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a 255-bed Level II Trauma Center with Level 2E SCN designation and Magnet recognition. The facility serves as a Primary Stroke Center and provides comprehensive interventional services including diagnostic and interventional heart procedures, ablations, AAA repairs, peripheral interventions, and various imaging-guided procedures. The facility maintains 24/7 support with hospitalists, RT coverage, and specialty physicians, along with dedicated charge nurse support and rapid response teams.
