Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 8-hour variable shifts including 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, and 11:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Float to Aspirus Merrill, Aspirus Langlade, Aspirus Medford, and Aspirus Stanley as needed
• 6-8 nights of weeknight call and 1-2 weekend calls during contract
• 30-minute response time required for call-back with 2-hour minimum
• Weekend and holiday rotation for call responsibilities
• Must have personal vehicle due to on-call requirements (Uber/Lyft not acceptable)
• 5+ years OR experience required with at least 1 travel assignment
• Experience in larger facility with 20+ ORs required
• Circulating required, scrub preferred
• Da Vinci Robotic experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Work with 21 ORs handling 40-60 cases per day across all specialties
• General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and GI experience preferred
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN License
• Epic charting preferred
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Must comply with flu season masking requirements if declining vaccinations

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical department with 21 operating rooms handling all medical specialties and averaging 45 cases per day. The facility maintains Trauma Level II designation and offers advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci robotic systems. The organization emphasizes high-quality patient care and operates a large-scale surgical program requiring experienced professionals capable of handling diverse surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
