$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - Oncology
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to other areas as needed in 4-hour blocks, floating before staff RNs
• Patient ratio typically 5:1 on nights, can reach up to 7:1 (uncommon)
• Night shift always has technicians on duty
• CNAs scheduled all shifts but may staff more RNs when CNAs unavailable
• Care for medical surgery oncology patients including surgical oncology and medical oncology patients
• Small population of patients receiving chemotherapy treatments
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and Chemotherapy certification
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience required, 1 year MSO unit preferred
• Oncology experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred, previous electronic charting experience required
• Work with Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy
