$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 24-bed medical/surgical unit with patient ratios of 1:4-5 during days, 1:4-6 during evenings, and 1:6 overnight
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Weekend rotation schedule (weekends only as of 9/8)
• Holiday expectations every other holiday
• 1-2 day orientation based on comfort level
• BLS certification required
• Care for patients with oncology conditions, surgical cases including bowel and GU surgeries, cellulitis, GI bleeds, CHF, and overflow patients
• Handle outpatient infusions for antibiotics and fluids
• Skills required include chest tubes, stable trach management (preferred), IV skills, port/central lines, and knowledge of CPAP/BiPAP/Airvo equipment
• Epic charting system preferred, also uses Alaris and Pyxis systems
• May float to other medical/surgical units or ER holds
• Call shifts not required but available for interested candidates
• Professional scrubs of any color required
• Free parking provided
• Support includes CNAs, charge nurse with partial assignment, 24/7 respiratory therapy, hospitalist coverage, and centralized telemetry
