Opportunity:

RN - 301351127 - ICU RN - 3N MICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day and night shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Every 3rd weekend requirement and rotating holidays
• Self-scheduling allowed but agency staff schedule last
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• 16-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:2 standard, 1:1 for higher acuity patients
• Care for patients with respiratory, stroke, neurological, GI, cardiac diagnoses
• Must have 2 years ICU experience plus 1 year travel experience
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Required to titrate multiple ICU drips including propofol, precedex, vasopressors
• Must be proficient in rhythm interpretation and read patient strips
• Floating requirements to like units or as patient observer within hospital
• One day hospital orientation and two days unit orientation
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Clean and professional dress code, no specific scrub color required
• Must clock in and out at facility
• Local candidates living within 80 miles subject to reduced rates
• Cannot have worked for this organization within 6 months of submission

This medical center operates a comprehensive healthcare system providing advanced critical care services through their Medical Intensive Care Unit. The facility maintains Level 2 trauma designation and features state-of-the-art equipment including ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, vapotherm, and nitric oxide delivery systems. The ICU is supported by pulmonologists, resident teams, respiratory therapists available 24/7, and one nursing aide per unit to support the nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
