Opportunity:

Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday schedule with every other weekend rotation
• One on-call shift per week with call hours: 1st call 6:30 AM-2:00 PM, 2nd call 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, 3rd call 10:30 PM-6:30 AM
• Flexible shift start times with 1-1.5 hour variance depending on staffing needs
• One day off during week leading up to work weekend and one day off the week following work weekend
• Handle 15-20 patients per technologist per day on average
• Work with inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and procedural patients of all age ranges with minimal pediatrics
• Perform surgical/procedural imaging, general radiography, and portable X-rays
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment for ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases
• Work in operating room for orthopedic, general, and spine procedures with preferred o-arm experience
• Required certifications: ARRT, Wisconsin License, BLS
• Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical experience required
• Must have highly competent surgery and procedure experience
• Work with EMR system EPIC and PACS system McKesson
• Utilize X-ray equipment from GE, Fuji, and Del Medical
• Operate C-arm equipment including GE 9900, Elites, and Medtronic o-arms
• Surgery scrubs provided in house
• 7-day department orientation following NEO
• One holiday requirement per contract
• No floating to other departments
• Fast-paced environment with high acuity patients

Facility:

This major medical center is a Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU with Magnet Designation and Primary Stroke Center recognition. The 636-bed facility provides comprehensive healthcare services with 24/7 radiologist coverage and round-the-clock hospitalist and intensivist support. The radiology department features 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoroscopy suites, 1 video swallow room, plus clinic space with 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room, staffed by 14 technologists on day shift, 7 on second shift, and 3 on third shift.
