Opportunity:

RN - MedSurg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 on Days/Evenings and 1:6-7 on Evenings/Nights
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Occasional float to other departments to assist with tasks such as vital checks, but will not take on patient load
• May float to other locations including Merrill, Wausau, Stanley, and Langlade
• Travelers may be placed on call during low census hours
• If called back to the facility, call back pay applies with a minimum of 2 hours
• Work in a 20-bed unit with a typical census of 8-10 patients; ICU and Med Surg are a shared unit with 3 ICU beds in a 25-bed critical access hospital
• Must be able to read telemetry strips
• 2+ years of experience required; ED or ICU experience highly preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN license, AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrubs must be clean and work appropriate; any color or style is acceptable
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
