Opportunity:

RN - MedSurg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Nurse to patient ratio ranges from 1:4-5 on Days/Evenings and 1:6-7 on Evenings/Nights
• Occasional float to other departments to assist with tasks such as vital checks, but will not take on a patient load
• May float to other locations including Merrill, Wausau, Stanley, and Langlade
• Travelers may be placed on call during low census hours
• If called back to the facility, call back pay applies with a minimum of 2 hours
• Work on a 20-bed unit with a typical census of 8-10 patients; ICU and Med Surg are a shared unit with 3 ICU beds
• Must be able to read telemetry strips
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; ED or ICU experience is very helpful
• Required certifications: WI RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrubs must be clean and work appropriate; any color or style is acceptable

Facility:

This is a 25-bed critical access hospital featuring a shared ICU and Med Surg unit with 3 dedicated ICU beds. The facility provides comprehensive inpatient care with a close-knit team environment, serving patients across a range of acuity levels. As part of a larger regional health system, staff have access to resources and support from multiple locations throughout the area.
