Opportunity:

RN - Correctional Facility Nurse

Job Details:

• 24 hours per week for 26 weeks
• Conduct sick call and respond to emergencies
• Collect and respond to health service requests from units
• Triage patient requests and coordinate the daily schedule
• See sick call patients and manage multiple follow-up appointments from provider referrals and RN follow-up visits
• Work as a nurse clinician for both general population and restricted housing patients
• Provide long-term care skills for patients housed inpatient in HSU sick cells, illness recovery, or post-operative care
• Temporarily perform lab duties until a Medical Assistant can be hired and trained
• Required certifications: CPR required at time of submittal
• 1098D and 1098N required upon submittal
• Teams interviews will be conducted

The facility requires nursing professionals who can manage a broad scope of clinical responsibilities including sick call, emergency response, chronic care follow-ups, and inpatient care. The healthcare team works across both general population and restricted housing units, delivering high-quality medical care in a secure and structured environment.
