Opportunity:

RN - MedSurg

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float requirement to like units including Riverview, Plover, and Divine Savior
• May be placed on low census call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Unit consists of 32 beds covering medical/surgical cases including orthopedics, general, urology, and ENT
• Day/PM patient ratio of 1:4-5; night ratio of 1:6-7
• If floated to 2nd floor, will take Med/Surg patients only from a 32-bed unit with 3 levels of care (ICU/Stepdown/Med-Surg)
• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg and orthopedic experience required
• 1 completed travel assignment required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI or compact RN license, AHA or ARC BLS
• ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred
• Any professional-colored scrubs required
• Strong work ethic, resilience, adaptability to change, and social/collaborative personality preferred

This medical-surgical facility operates a 32-bed unit offering three levels of care including ICU, stepdown, and med/surgical services. The unit treats a diverse patient population across orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and ENT specialties. The facility is part of a larger health system with multiple affiliated locations, emphasizing high-quality patient care and a collaborative team environment.
