Opportunity:

Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work schedule follows a Monday through Friday rotation with every other weekend required
• Shift times are flexible with 1 to 1.5 hours between start times depending on staffing needs
• One day off during the week leading up to a work weekend and one day off the week following a work weekend
• On-call requirement of one call shift per week with three call windows: 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• One holiday worked per contract expected
• Average patient load of 15 to 20 patients per technologist per day
• Serve inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and procedural patients across all age ranges including limited pediatrics
• Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical experience required
• Must be highly competent in surgery and procedure experience
• Required skills include surgical and procedure imaging, general radiology, portables, and mid to high level hospital experience
• Fluoroscopy procedures include ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases
• OR procedures include orthopedic, general, and spine cases with preferred comfort using O-arm
• Unit features 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 video swallow room, 2 clinic diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, 1 dental room
• EMR system: EPIC
• X-ray equipment: GE, Fuji, and Del Medical
• PACS system: McKesson
• C-arm equipment: GE 9900, GE Elites, and Medtronic O-arms
• Surgery scrubs are provided in-house
• Free parking available on site
• Required certifications and licenses: ARRT, Wisconsin State License, BLS
• No floating to other units required
• Fast-paced environment with high acuity patients

Facility:

This facility is a large 636-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU. The organization holds Magnet Designation and serves as a Primary Stroke Center, reflecting its commitment to excellence in patient care and nursing standards. The radiology department operates with robust support including a lead technologist on first shift, radiologist on site 24/7, respiratory therapy available 24/7, hospitalist coverage 24/7, and intensivist coverage 24/7, with a team of 14 technologists on days, 7 on second shift, and 3 on third shift.
