Opportunity:

Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Job Details:

• Perform chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, portable imaging, C-arm procedures, and limited fluoroscopy
• Work with inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and some pediatric patients, primarily adults
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio
• Float throughout the hospital for portable imaging, including OR and ED
• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers with a strong background will be considered
• Work in a facility with 2 diagnostic beds and 1 fluoroscopy bed; fluoroscopy unlikely on third shift
• Only 1 X-ray tech and 1 CT tech scheduled after 10:00 PM
• Charting system: EPIC EMR
• Medication dispensing system: Pyxis
• PACS system: McKesson (preferred experience)
• Equipment includes Canon portables, GE fluoroscopy, OEC C-arms, and Dell with Canon plates in diagnostic rooms
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT; Wisconsin state license required
• Scrub color: Any color accepted
• Free parking available on site

Facility:

This facility is a 60-bed Level 3 Trauma Center located outside of Kenosha, WI. The facility provides comprehensive radiology services with 24/7 radiologic technologist and hospitalist support, as well as transport services available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The organization is equipped with modern imaging technology and supports a wide range of patient care needs across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
