Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 7-week contract length
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours; unit may low census in 4-hour increments and may ask traveler to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills required
• Experience with Neuro Interventionalist procedures a plus
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• Care for Neuro population including Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients
• Main procedures include Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures such as line placement and intubation
• Neuro-specific procedures include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Scrub color: Any color
