Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every weekend contract schedule required
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Every other holiday rotation required
• On-call responsibilities on weekends
• Support all patient care areas of the hospital including the Emergency Department and general care areas
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols for all age groups
• Perform ABG draws, EKGs, Holter/event monitoring
• Work with V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 vents, AVEA ventilators, and VOCSN ventilators
• Charting completed in Epic
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required with NICU experience and proficiency with patients 0-6 months required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, Advanced NRP, RRT License, and Wisconsin License
• ACLS preferred but not required
• AHA or ARC certifications required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Dress code: closed-toed shoes, scrubs (any color), clean appearance, no smoking or scents allowed
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change, social, and have strong prioritization skills with the ability to work independently
• 50-mile radius rule from facility applies
