Opportunity:

Scrub Tech - OR

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Float requirements between Howard Young, Eagle River, and Tomahawk locations; floating may be prescheduled as needed
• On-call requirements include one night of call per week and one weekend every 4th weekend with call back within 20 minutes; call only at Rhinelander location
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Work in a 5-OR facility with 1 endoscopy room performing general surgery procedures
• Surgeries performed include all types except neurology, spinal, and heart procedures
• Use and select retractors, forceps, clamps, scissors, and needle holders according to planned use, tissue type, tissue characteristics, and patient size
• Determine specific equipment needed per procedure
• Charting experience with Epic required
• Minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS; CST not required
• Scrub colors provided by facility
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Strong documentation skills, adaptability to change, and social communication skills preferred

The facility operates five operating rooms and one endoscopy room, performing a broad spectrum of general surgical procedures. The organization is part of a larger health system with multiple locations, providing comprehensive care to patients across the region.
