Opportunity:

Nuclear Medicine Tech - Nuclear Medicine Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call requirements for weekends and holidays depending on rotation
• Department has 5 scanners/rooms including 1 PET scanner
• Perform all range of Nuclear Medicine scans for patients from infants through adults
• Average of 20 scans/studies per day; will not be working alone
• May be the only tech in the department depending on shift
• Must be proficient in starting IVs - required skill
• General Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers and duos accepted
• EMR system: Cerner; PACS: Siemens/SECTRA
• Department-specific equipment: Siemens
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling
• Scrubs are not provided; no assigned scrub color
• Orientation up to 1 week including CBTs, computer access, organizational checklist, and floor training with a colleague for the first few days
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering comprehensive medical services across multiple specialties. The Nuclear Medicine department operates 5 imaging rooms including a dedicated PET scanner and provides organizational radiologist coverage 24/7. The facility utilizes Cerner as its primary EMR system alongside Siemens/SECTRA PACS, reflecting its commitment to modern, technology-driven patient care.
