Opportunity:

Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• No holiday expectations
• Weekend rotation as needed
• Average patient volume of 50-70 patients per day
• Perform general X-ray imaging including extremities, chest, head, orthopedic, and spine
• No portables, fluoroscopy, or OR work required
• Treat patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric, including non-mobile patients requiring positioning assistance
• Must be comfortable working with orthopedic patients with varying degrees of mobility, including non-weight bearing patients
• Must be comfortable working independently and be self-directed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; mix of acute and outpatient experience preferred
• First-time travelers will not be accepted
• Work with EMR system EPIC (preferred), PACS: GE Centricity, GE overhead X-ray, and DelMedical floor mounted unit
• May float to AMG Lincolnshire Orthopedic Clinic approximately 4 miles away with at least 1 day advance notice
• Required certifications and licenses: BLS, ARRT, Illinois IEMA license
• Scrub color: Any color, professional, no logos
• Free parking available
• If needing to call out sick, must notify a minimum of 2 hours before shift begins

Facility:

This multispecialty outpatient clinic primarily supports an orthopedic clinic and features 2 X-ray rooms. The facility operates with a collaborative team including fellow radiologic technologists, patient service representatives, and a site manager, with management always available by phone. The clinic is equipped with modern imaging technology and maintains safety measures including panic buttons in each room. Patients are transferred to and from the radiology department with support from the orthopedic clinic's medical assistants.
