Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Technologist

Job Details:

• Work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts Monday through Friday with block scheduling
• On-call rotation required 1-2 days per week and every 5th weekend
• 30-minute response time required for call or standby situations
• Holiday and weekend on-call rotation required
• Perform vascular studies including aorta, abdominal, bypass, fistulas, mapping, stent, ABI, upper and lower venous, and upper and lower arterial imaging
• Average of 8-9 studies performed per day
• Work in a department with 7 scanners and 7 rooms
• Portable studies performed as needed
• Utilize department-specific equipment including Vasculab and Philips Epiq Elite
• Chart using Cerner EMR and Sectra PACS systems
• Reading surgeon available in-house
• No IV starts required
• Outpatient and inpatient care setting
• Must demonstrate protocol adaptability and be team-oriented
• No floating to other departments required
• Standard grey hospital scrubs available; no specific color or dress code required
• Required certifications: BLS
• RVT and RDMS certifications preferred but not required
• Must clock in and out at the facility

Facility:

This acute care facility operates at a Trauma Level 2 designation, offering comprehensive cardiac and vascular imaging services in a well-equipped department. The echo and cardiac sonography department features seven scanners and seven rooms, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. The facility utilizes industry-standard technology and electronic medical record systems to ensure high-quality patient care across its imaging and diagnostic services.
