Opportunity:
MRI Technologist - MRI
Job Details:
• Work 10-hour day shifts on a 7 on / 7 off rotation schedule
• Wednesday through Friday: 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• 40 hours / 36 hours in client 2-week period
• Weekend shifts fall into the 7 on rotation
• Holiday shifts fall into the 7 on rotation
• On-call/standby required during 7 on rotation - every other Friday starting at 6:00 PM through 8:00 AM Saturday
• Float coverage between inpatient and clinic areas
• Perform a wide range of MRI imaging studies including Level 2 trauma cases
• Average of 38 scans/studies per day
• Work with 7 staff in department until 4:30 PM and 2 staff after 4:30 PM; weekends with assistant only
• Must have experience with Siemens MRI equipment
• Must have experience working in a hospital setting (not clinic only)
• Must be proficient with Cerner EMR and Siemens PACS
• Must be able to start IVs
• Up to 1 week of department-specific orientation provided
• Must wear scrubs
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA)
• First-time travelers accepted; open to duos
Facility:
This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering a comprehensive range of medical services. The MRI department operates three scanners in the clinic attached to the hospital and one additional machine within the hospital itself. The department is supported by a lead technologist during day hours and utilizes Cerner for electronic medical records alongside Siemens PACS for imaging, ensuring a well-equipped and technologically advanced environment for radiology professionals.
