Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy

Job Details:

• Treat patients with orthopedic conditions, debility, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-op recovery, and cardiac diagnoses
• See 8-11 patients per therapist per day
• Work day shifts with schedule options of five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, with a consistent day off chosen by the department
• 13-week assignment cycle
• No weekend rotation, no on-call responsibilities, and no holiday expectations
• No floating to other departments
• Orientation includes NEO and 3-5 days of departmental orientation depending on relevant experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
• Georgia state Physical Therapy license required
• BLS certification required
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Light Grey (Approved list)

Facility:

This is a 304-bed, full-service hospital serving as the main campus for a regional health system in northwest Georgia. The facility features a certified Chest Pain Center, a designated Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, and a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. The hospital is home to a state-designated Level II Trauma Center and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, along with specialty centers for pediatrics and wound care and hyperbaric therapy. The Rehabilitation department supports a team of over 20 therapists and aides working daily with on-site administration.
