Opportunity:

RN - Pediatric OR

Job Details:

• Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call responsibilities required: 1x every 6-8 weekends, 1 weeknight per week Monday through Thursday, and holidays as operationally needed
• Kidney transplant experience required
• Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty required
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility - locals not accepted
• Charting system experience required - Epic
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), PALS, Wisconsin RN or compact RN license
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, and adults
• Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical skills including but not limited to: administration of blood and blood products, ambulatory OR procedures, organ donation, regulatory charting for transplants, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, spinal fusion, craniotomy, and pediatric ENT surgery
• Pass/fail telemetry exam required prior to start with a passing score of 80% or higher, with a maximum of three attempts
• Interdisciplinary support available from respiratory services and pharmacy

It is a comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical center featuring nationally recognized specialists across a wide range of fields. The facility is home to a Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and a Level IV NICU, serving pediatric patients throughout the region and beyond.
