Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg/Tele
Job Details:
• Evening/Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need
• Two weekends per six-week schedule period, with the option for more weekends if desired
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Must have a minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in Med Surg/Telemetry
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required - AHA only
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to starting the assignment with a passing score of 80% or higher
• Telemetry exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms including ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and asystole
• Two attempts allowed to pass the telemetry exam; failure after three attempts will result in assignment cancellation
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, IV management, wound care, tracheostomy care, central line blood draws, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and more
