Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg/Tele
Job Details:
• Evening/Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need
• Two weekends per six-week schedule period, with option for more weekends if desired
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• WI RN or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required - AHA only
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start with a passing score of 80% or higher
• Telemetry exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms including ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and asystole
• No incorrect answers permitted on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks
• Travelers have two attempts to pass the telemetry exam; a third attempt requires submission of a cardiac interpretation review course certificate of completion
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Required skills include blood product administration, telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and more
