Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg/Tele
Job Details:
• Evening/Night 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need
• Two weekends per six-week schedule period, with the option for more if desired
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Must have a minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required - AHA only
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start with the following criteria met in two attempts:
- Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms (ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole), no incorrect answers on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks, and a passing score of 80% or higher
- Pediatric Exam: Identification of ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia with a passing score of 80% or higher
• Caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Skills include blood product administration, telemetry monitoring, IV insulin protocols, wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care, PICC line management, and more
