Opportunity:

RN - ICU/CCU - FLOAT

Job Details:

• Evening and night shifts available, with 8-hour and 12-hour shift options
• Primary shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 4x12 shift schedule also available if preferred
• Every other weekend required, with some holidays required
• 6-7 weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for both day and night shifts
• Float required to multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, and MSICU, as well as IMC/Progressive care units
• Must have experience with multiple ICU specialties including adult and geriatric populations
• IMC/Progressive/General care population experience required as needed
• Minimum of 5 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Basic Arrhythmia experience required
• Must pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start
• Charting system experience with Epic required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Key skills required include arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, CVVHD/CRRT, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
• Orientation hours: 28 hours
