Opportunity:

RN - Hospice

Job Details:

• 13-week contract starting as soon as possible
• 8-hour and 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours, with a minimum 2-hour call back requirement if called in
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and chart changes in condition
• Handle phone calls and conduct death visits when a patient passes
• Charting completed via EPIC (remote client)
• 1-2 years of previous hospice experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Required certifications: WI or compact RN license, AHA or ARC BLS
• Any clean and work-appropriate scrubs permitted
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Facility:

This intimate hospice facility operates as an 8-bedroom hospice house dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families. The facility focuses on comfort-centered care, supporting patients through their final stages of life with a dedicated nursing team. Charting is conducted remotely through EPIC, with nursing staff responsible for monitoring and documenting patient conditions around the clock.
