RN - OR

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• No scheduled weekends required
• Weekend call is required approximately 1 in every 4 weekends
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required including General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotics, Orthopedics, and GYN
• Travel experience required
• Must be proficient with a wide range of surgical procedures including laparoscopic, robotic, orthopedic, urologic, gynecologic, and general surgery cases
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Charting experience in Cerner preferred
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Operates within an 8-room OR suite serving adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates not accepted
• Barcode scanning compliance must be maintained at 95% or higher to be eligible for extension
• Bedside Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required
• Telemetry exam required prior to start with a passing score of 80% or higher; must pass within two attempts
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only)
• Active RN license required
• Free parking available on site
