Description

Job Description

As a pediatric intensive care unit open heart nurse (RN PICU)-OH, you will oversee and treat children of all ages who are having open-heart surgery. You will monitor their health and provide necessary care, possibly including life-saving interventions. Due to this large scope of responsibility, you will generally only be assigned a few patients at any given time, allowing you to manage complicated cases. Using patients' health histories and current diagnoses, you will develop a personalized patient care plan, implement these treatments, and evaluate how the patient responds, working with the healthcare team to make any necessary adjustments

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
  • Active RN license
