Description
Job Description
As a registered nurse - infection control (RN), you'll help control pathogens and prevent infections in healthcare facilities. Working at a hospital, nursing home, home health setting, ambulatory surgery center or another facility, you'll help reduce the spread of disease among patients and staff. Your responsibilities may include isolating and treating infected patients, creating disease management plans, gathering infection data, working with epidemiologists and government entities, and educating patients, staff and families. You'll play a critical role in preventing disease and helping your patients regain health.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
- Active RN license
