Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in an acute care setting. This role involves providing high-risk labor and delivery nursing care, including performing newborn admission assessments and stabilization. The selected candidate will work day shifts with varying days of the week, supporting patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

Shift: Day shift, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, scheduled for 12 hours per day
Schedule: Varies days of the week, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: RN license (Single State License or Multi-state Compact RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least two years of high-risk Labor and Delivery nursing experience or circulator experience; ability to read, write, and speak English; basic computer skills; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to respond to emergencies decisively and respectfully; excellent time management skills; competent in evidence-based nursing practices and critical thinking
Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing newborn admission assessment and stabilization (newborn admitting nurse)
Additional Information: Must be available to work varying days and weekends (minimum every other weekend), with at least two major and two minor holidays. Start date is 08/31/2026, with a duration through 11/30/2026.
