Description

Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Odessa, Texas, will provide care throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases for obstetrical patients. The role involves utilizing clinical skills, critical thinking, and leadership to ensure safe and efficient delivery of care in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Job Details:

  • Position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
  • Shift: Night shifts, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 09/07/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring training, Navy scrubs, a minimum of 2 years of experience including prior travel experience in obstetrics
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a PWP (Pay When Paid) facility, prior experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Additional Information: The assigned professional will be responsible for delivering high-quality obstetrical care, supervising assigned personnel, and maintaining clinical competencies through continuous education. All travel submissions must meet experience criteria; local candidates are not accepted.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
