Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at a facility located in Greenville, North Carolina. The RN will be responsible for providing specialized perioperative patient care to cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Greenville, North Carolina
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid NC or Compact state RN license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 0 years of minimum experience
• Patients Served: Cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients including CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, LVAD placement, endovascular aneurysm repair, carotid stenting, thoracotomy, VATS, and related procedures
• Roles and Responsibilities: Managing overall nursing care in the operating room, assisting with sterile field preparation, passing instruments, managing surgical equipment, and performing counts to prevent foreign objects.
• Additional Information: The RN will be circulating and scrubbed in the CVOR suite, managing patient care in a high-acuity surgical environment. The assignment duration is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and call required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
