Description
Job Description
As an operating room open heart nurse (RN OR-OH), you will manage the care of patients before, during, and after open-heart surgery. Working primarily within the operating suite, you will be responsible for preparing the patient, handling and preparing operating instruments and equipment, monitoring patient status, and assisting with open-heart surgeries. You'll also provide pre- and post-op education and moral support to patients and their families.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
- Active RN license
