Description
Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Department in Sacramento, California, is seeking a qualified registered nurse for a night shift assignment starting on July 20, 2026. The role involves providing specialized care within the high-risk obstetrics unit, supporting women through labor and delivery processes, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; registered nurse license in the state; valid Basic Life Support and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications; ACLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; five (5) plus years of recent experience in labor and delivery within the last two (2) years; one (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years; high risk obstetrics experience preferred.
- Additional Information: No specific experience minimum years required beyond the stated qualifications; candidate must have necessary licensing and certifications.
