Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) in Springfield, Massachusetts. This position involves providing emergency care in a high-acuity, diverse patient care unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role requires a minimum of two years of emergency department (ED) or intensive care unit (ICU) experience, post-orientation.

Job Details:

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
Schedule: 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years of ED or ICU experience, required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Preferred Qualifications: None specified
Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional Information: This is a large, high-acuity emergency care unit with 118 beds. The patient population is highly diverse, including behavioral health, boarding patients, emergency/trauma cases, and critically ill/ICU-level patients. Nurses must be comfortable managing complex and unstable patients, demonstrating strong critical care skills, adaptability, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
