Description
Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position involves caring for both ICU and progressive care patients within a mixed acuity unit. Candidates are required to bring their Indiana RN license on the first day and possess a minimum of 1.5 years of ICU experience. The role requires flexibility, critical thinking, and a team-oriented approach. The position shifts are from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
Job Details:
- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Shift: 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Indiana (IN) Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA. A minimum of 2 years ICU experience is preferred, with at least 1.5 years required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience, Level 1 or Level 2 facility experience, strong background in medical patients and critical care.
- Additional Information: No Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; license submission is necessary.
