Description

Job Summary:
The Denver, Colorado, operating room registered nurse (RN) position involves supporting a busy surgical unit within a healthcare provider. The RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, assisting with a variety of surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR)
  • Location: Denver, Colorado
  • Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum 1-year current acute care hospital experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, experience functioning in multiple service lines, Meditech electronic medical record experience, ability to perform transplant and spinal procedures, and immediate availability to start.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with all types of surgical equipment, familiarity with transplant and spine surgeries.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should have excellent teamwork skills with providers and staff. The unit operates from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and on-call responsibilities include responding within 30 minutes. Call schedules will vary between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd calls, mixed between weekdays and weekends. The assignment duration is over an 8-week period with potential for variation in the number of shifts.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
