Job Summary:
A Nurse Manager with Labor & Delivery (L&D) specialization is sought for a facility located in Washington, District of Columbia. This role involves supervising clinical operations for a Labor & Delivery unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and staffing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Washington, District of Columbia
  • Specialty: Nurse Manager Labor & Delivery (L&D)
  • Shift: 12-hour nights, rotating am/pm, with call responsibilities. Shift hours per day are 12, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring certification is required. Candidates must hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia, with at least 2 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) clinical experience and a minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience. Cerner experience is required.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must meet all outlined qualifications and have supervisor experience. Only submissions with supervisor experience will be considered.
