Job Summary:
The Springfield, Illinois-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) is seeking a qualified registered nurse for a high-acuity, Level I trauma center. The assigned role involves performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including adult diagnostic and interventional procedures such as left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line monitoring, and right heart catheterization. Candidates are required to bring their active Illinois license on the first day. The position offers a daytime 3x12 shift schedule, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Job Details:

• Position / Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory RN (CCL)
• Shift: 3x12 Days (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, minimum 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment, Cerner charting system experience, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, monitoring procedural sedation, and interventional cardiac catheterizations involving adult patients.
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: RTO restrictions of no more than 5 days, candidate must work 2 of the 3 major holidays, and vaccinations including flu are required (Medical/Religious exemptions only). SSN and DOB required at submission. Review and confirm housing arrangements prior to submission. Candidate must be pre-closed, understand the compliance requirements, and have all necessary certifications ready for review.
